Submission Video Pitch Terms and Conditions

 

  1. The Alliance Bank BizSmart® Challenge Accelerator Edition 2026 (“BizSmart® Challenge”) is organised by Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“ABMB”) in collaboration with its programme partners which includes 1337 Ventures Sdn Bhd, Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, Sunway Innovation Labs (Sunway iLabs) , Seni Jaya Corporation Berhad and any other partners onboarded by the Organiser for BizSmart® Challenge programme from time to time (“Programme Partners”).

    1. By participating in the Submission Video Pitch, the applicants hereby agree to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions in relation to the Alliance Bank BizSmart® Challenge 2026 (“BizSmart® Challenge”) at: www.bizsmart.com.my
    2. ABMB and its Programme Partners reserve the right at any time with prior notice to add, delete, suspend or vary the Terms and Conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at its sole discretion.
    3. Any matter which is not covered under the Terms and Conditions herein shall be determined solely by the ABMB.
    4. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination, suspension or extension of the Submission Video Pitch or disqualification of Participant(s)/ Finalist(s) or forfeiture of prize shall not entitle the Participant(s)/ Finalist(s) to any claims or compensations whatsoever against the ABMB and its Programme Partners or for any loss or damages suffered, sustained or incurred by the Participant(s)/ Finalist(s) as a result thereof whether directly or indirectly.
    5. These Video Submission Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and Participant agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
    6. In the event of inconsistency between the terms & conditions and the terms and conditions of the BizSmart® Challenge, the terms & conditions of BizSmart® Challenge will prevail.

  2. The Submission Video Pitch period shall commence from 22 June 2026 until 02 August 2026 (both dates inclusive) (“Submission Period”).

    3. Submission Video Pitch Eligibility

    BizSmart® Challenge is open to SMEs registered in Malaysia with business operations between 12 months and 10 years (maximum) and with an annual turnover of between RM500,000 to RM40 million (as at 30 April 2024).

  3. To enter BizSmart® Challenge and increase your chances of being selected as one of the Top 30 shortlisted Participants, the Participants are required to complete the following:

    1. Present their business pitch in a video shot in vertical mode in a maximum of sixty (60) seconds by answering six (6) questions:
      1. Introduction about yourself
      2. Business overview
      3. The motive/vision & mission (What inspired you to start this business)
      4. Unique selling point (USP)
      5. Target market
      6. Aspiration/Business goal/plan for the next five (5) years
    2. Video format required:
      1. Duration: Not more than sixty (60) seconds
      2. Format: mp4/MOV
      3. Dimension: 1,080 x 1,920 (Aspect ratio: 9:16)
      4. File size: Not more than 10MB
    3. Complete the official BizSmart® Challenge submission via www.bizsmart.com.my
    4. Upload the video link in the designated submission form field.
    5. Participants are also encouraged to upload the video to own social media accounts to publicise the participation in BizSmart® Challenge 2026.
    6. Participant(s)/Finalist(s) are allowed to be creative and use elements like stickers and filters in their videos but will ultimately be judged according to the set judging criteria.

  4. Entries that do not follow the above will not be considered unless subsequently resubmitted in accordance to the clause above and is accepted by ABMB.

  5. Multiple entries are allowed but each participant can only qualify for one business at any one time.

  6. All submitted and accepted entries shall, unless retracted by the participant or disqualified by ABMB, be published on the following ABMB Social Media Pages inclusive of but not limited at

    for public viewing and for the purposes of promoting the programme.

  7. Participant(s)/ Finalist(s) who have submitted incomplete entries or entries which ABMB deems, at its sole discretion, to contain offensive, improper, inappropriate and/or obscene elements will automatically be disqualified from The Programme without any notice.

    8. Judging Criteria & Top 30 Shortlisted Participant(s)

  8. Selection of the Top 30 Shortlisted Participant(s) will be at the sole discretion of ABMB & its Programme Partners. Participant(s)’/ Finalist(s)’ Submission Video Pitch entry will be reviewed first followed by the details in their submission form.

  9. ABMB & its Programme Partners decisions shall be final and NO correspondence and/or appeal to dispute such decisions will be entertained.

  10. The Top 30 Shortlisted Participant(s) will be notified through an official email or phone call by Alliance Bank. The announcement of winners will be made on or near the following dates: 18 September 2026.

  11. ABMB & its Programme Partners shall be entitled to disqualify the participation in the event they deem no entries suitable for qualification.
